Excellent products and service prove a recipe for success!

Robert and Sara are the cheery proprietors of William Dyer butchers. Ten years ago their dream of owning their own quality butchers shop came true and they began serving the people of Ashtead with enthusiasm and terrific products. The couple have been rewarded by an ever-increasing loyal customer base, who come from miles around to sample their wares. Using their wealth of experience in butchery, product development, contract catering, restaurants, hotels and event management, the business has been expanded into home-made ready meals and now have a purpose built facility where their dedicated chef and team work their magic.

Meet the team

You’ll find Robert and Sara creating a jovial atmosphere throughout William Dyer, creating a pleasant environment for customers and staff. They provide skilled jobs for 14 local people who in turn extend the butcher’s excellent reputation for amazing products and customer service. ‘Cheffie’ Steve Jones heads up the off-site kitchen team with Sam and Gemma. And on Craddocks Avenue, customers are likely to see Mike, Sar, Ross and Ginny cheerfully serving customers and dispensing culinary advice. You’ll find Trevor cutting meats to customer requirements with skill and panache. In the busy kitchen of the shop, Pei and Orriya prepare all the freshly baked counter-to-oven delicacies.
